Rabbi Chaim Shapiro
Born and raised in New York City, Rabbi Chaim Shapiro completed his graduate studies in Judaica and Jewish Law at The Rabbinical College of America. He received his rabbinic ordination from schools in Israel and New York.
Rabbi Chaim has been involved in international outreach for six years. During this time he has served as chaplain in prisons and medical schools abroad. He led prayer services in South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Israel, as well as across the United States. He also taught Jewish Law, Talmud, and Kabbalah in New York and Mexico. Rabbi Shapiro spent several summers as a mentor to youth in Canada and Israel.
Mrs. Leah Shapiro
Rabbi Chaim’s wife, Leah Shapiro, comes with her own credentials. The daughter of a Rabbi, Leah was raised in a home open to all. Having been exposed to the many needs and personalities that build a community, Leah has developed positive feeling and respect for the individual. After graduating from Yeshiva Schools in Pittsburgh, PA , Leah attended the Women’s Seminary of St. Agathe, QC. Leah received her diploma in Judaic studies and then went on to teach at the Sliverstein Hebrew Academy of Great Neck, New York.
